Folks, This Ain't Normal: A Farmer's Advice for Happier Hens, Healthier People, and a Better World By: Joel Salatin ISBN-10: 0892968206

A book of truth, you know it when you start to consume it and it consumes you. Undeniably natural and essence of life on this little blue planet, unless you live under a rock!

Yet as you read on, there’s a feeling of anger and frustration combined with a desire to change and wishing this world was a different place.

Salatin gets back to the old days of simple living, simple food, and the challenges associated with this type of living in a modern society where denatured food, chemicals additives are common fair and an unforgiving part of our lives and health. Unfortunately, what Salatin has achieved is beyond the reach of the average person.

Symbiotically living off the land through an incredible balance between sunlight, grass, soil and livestock to achieve a life-cycle of dependencies that only the earth can offer, Salatin demonstrates and shares just how good it can be.

This is my second taste of a grass farmer’s world, it still attractive, engaging and chewed thoroughly and digested.
